And then the magical travelling romani circus of scholastic would randomly show up and you’d never care to buy any books but they had AWESOME gadgets and toys for sale

at the motherfucking BOOK FAIR

I would buy a few books but most of the time it was the amazing badass pens and the erasers that smelled good 

Oh my gosh those fairs were my favorite!

One of my crushes in middle school got his secret name “bookfair” because I was staring off into the cafeteria dreamily and my friends thought I was staring at him, even though I was ACTUALLY staring lovingly at the bookfair.  They still dont believe me.
